University of Nairobi Hosts Workshop on Design Science, AI and Stakeholder Engagement

The University of Nairobi, through the C4D Lab at Chiromo Campus, hosted a three-day workshop from 12–14 August 2026 that brought together participants from universities, industry, government and partner institutions across Africa to explore the application of Design Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in developing practical, human-centred solutions to societal challenges.

University of Nairobi Engages Business and Management Sciences Alumni on Improving Student Facilities

The University hosted a breakfast meeting with key alumni of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences on August 14, 2026, as part of efforts to mobilise support for improving university facilities, particularly student accommodation.

The meeting was organised by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Finance, Planning and Development, Prof. Josiah Aduda and chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Eng. Prof Ayub Gitau.
