Pan-African Symposium on Logistics, Supply Chain and Strategic Business hosted at UoN

The University of Nairobi, on June 16, 2026, hosted the Pan-African Symposium on Logistics, Supply Chain and Strategic Business (PASCL) Conference, bringing together scholars, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders and students from more than 20 universities and institutions across Africa and beyond to deliberate on emerging trends and solutions shaping the future of logistics, supply chain management and strategic business.

UoN and Britam Explore Strategic Partnership Opportunities

The University of Nairobi has taken another step towards strengthening industry partnerships following a courtesy call by a delegation from Britam Holdings to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Finance, Planning and Development, Prof. Josiah Aduda, on July 2, 2026.

The meeting gave the two institutions a chance to explore shared interests and discuss potential collaborations that would benefit both the University and the private sector.

Prof Aduda Takes the Mantle as Deputy Vice Chancellor for Finance, Planning and Development

In a special sitting of the University of Nairobi Council, held on May 14, 2026, Prof Josiah Omollo Aduda was appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Finance, Planning and Development (FPD), further strengthening the University’s substantive leadership team as the institution accelerates governance, financial sustainability, infrastructure modernization and strategic transformation initiatives.
