During the covid19 pandemic, the University has entered into an agreement with Telkom Kenya and made a special arrangement to facilitate all UoN students with data bundles to access online learning platforms. 

Here is a step by step procedure of how a student can access the bundles. 

1. Students to register their intent for facilitation of data bundles by updating their profile in the SMIS portal indicating their preferred Telkom outlet.

2. Requests received at ICT Centre are processed and forwarded to respective colleges for review and approval.

I hope you are all staying safe during this time.   The University has experienced significant growth in research and consultancy funds managed by the Grants office, thanks to your efforts.

Each college has a committee that oversees asset disposal at the University of Nairobi. Each item has a certain procedure to be followed before it is fully disposed.

The training for the disposal committees brought to light the guidelines and regulations from different government agencies like NEMA.
