A section of the newly elected University of Nairobi Students Association (UNSA) leadership paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Finance, Planning and Development, Prof. Josiah Aduda, on June 30, 2026, marking the beginning of a collaborative working relationship between the University's management and the new student leadership.

The meeting was particularly significant as it brought together two new leadership teams, with both Prof. Aduda and the UNSA officials having recently assumed office. The courtesy call provided an opportunity for introductions, mutual engagement and discussions on strengthening collaboration in advancing the University's strategic objectives while promoting student welfare.

Prof. Aduda congratulated the student leaders on earning the confidence of their peers and encouraged them to embrace servant leadership, integrity and accountability in the execution of their mandate.
